The Growlers released the Gay Thoughts 7’’(Everloving) on record store day as a special release. It features “Gay Thoughts” and “Good Feelings.” Both songs feature their distinctive blend of beach goth – their eerie, cheery sound. They are sunny and sparse jams that are a result of the Growlers’ songwriting maturity. Brooks Nielson’s voice guides us through the two tunes in his usual melanchronic croon. The video for “Gay Thoughts” is especially awesome, as edited by Jack Coleman.
