Non-stop pummeling hardcore with a serious pop bent from Philadelphia. LEATHER have a speed metal yelper of a singer and riff machine for the rest. Nice to hear some raw, fast punk that’s not afraid to veer into a pop moment here or there. This stuff chugs away here, herks and jerks there, and generally never lets up. 7″, STERILE, is out on JADETREE. “Relapse” with it’s start/stop riff is the most ripping of the bunch and is stuck in my damn head. You might say that this art damaged hardcore if such a thing existed.
