BOSTON/NE BANDS, Fresh Stream

LISTEN TO: KRILL

by

Local Top Shrimp Krill are pretty new on the basement scene, but they’ve been spreading positive vibes in every direction. For the record, they’ve brewed a strange concoction of raw rock pop gems encased in a heavy fog of reverb and drugged angst and they’re calling it Alam No Hris. What at first perhaps appears like just a bunch of garage pop trashers quickly blossom into raw soulful jammers. Emboldened by crisp, steady drums that build and tumble over in youthful anticipation, sustained by infectious melodies and disturbed by the yearning howls and murmurs of a lonely, earnest bard, these quality crustaceans would make the Pixies proud. As to be expected, they straight tear it up live, as they demonstrated at the Butcher Shoppe last month supporting Royal Baths and New England Patriots. Watch this space to find out when these midnight marauders next appear on the sonic horizon. Until that time, download their new FREE full-length, and get down to that proud loud Boston sound.
