Cluster meets Neu! guitarist Michael Rother and the rest is history, or well, at least the rest is Harmonia. A Krautrock super unit, they may have made the best record of the far out 60s and 70s German scenes with musik Von Harmonia. This is just one of those purely magical records that you can count on to transport you into its own universe when you put the needle down(press play, etc.). Very rhythm oriented and trance inducing at times, and then totally free and spacey at others. At times it even captures both feels at once. I feel fairly often that if you looked up the terms Krautrock or Kosmische Musik in the dictionary you should be able to find this record’s cover next to the definition. Perfection in drone and space rock.
