Andrew Churchman has returned with a new band, a new small batch of songs, and the hope for more to come. And the indie pop loving world is rejoicing. The guy’s songwriting is as solid as ever as he is joined by a fellow former member of Pants Yell, as well as by a member of one of Boston’s other beloved bands, Reports.
Really, if you loved Pants Yell and their sweet melancholy and classic 80s indie pop ways then you are going to be psyched for Cuffs. There’s even a little guitar wandering going on amongst these 3 short songs and that only makes the deal sweeter. So watch this band. I’m sure there’s a lot more to be heard from them as the days and months go by!

In fact look at this! CUFFS is playing tomorrow on MLK Day, 1/17 @ the Middlesex Lounge. They’re joined by the UK’s like minded Sleeping States. It’s 21+ though so chek your age before your try to go. It’s also FREE. A lovely monday night to be sure.
