Circle Pit are yet another great band out of Australia. This time we’re talking some real poppy indie guitar rock mashed together with some 70s grimey rock n roll-ness, but so that there’s no chunks of either discernible, but rather just a fine mash. Girl/Guy vocals calling to mind something like Pavement or Dinosaur Jr’s poppier output.There’s definitely classic rock cruisin’ down the highway vibe all over this(their album Bruise Constellation came out on SILTBREEZE late last year) but there’s something original added to the stew, and thus in total CIRCLE PIT bring something more. Will be a record, in the future, looking hazily back, linked to summer 2011 if I may say so. And yo… I just did. Also with records out on SACRED BONES.
