Riding the new wave of unmistakably American garage angst into our collective ear valves are the folky fresh hangers-loose HANDS AND KNEES. Jive on their uptempo pop rock nuggets for a sugar rush akin to the candy, sweet but lively and unpredictable. Combining punk fervor with folk hooks and excellent use of soft-loud dynamics is the name of their game, and I’ll be damned if they don’t win every time.
