You may think you’re ready for a new High Five the Birthday Boy track, but you’re really not. A somehow party-ready track, “Shidded” rumbles ears with grimy subs and rapid 808’s flanked by samples of our queen, Nicki Minaj. The track turns around at an abrupt bridge to reveal seedy trance chords and an infectious groove that could go on forever. Shidded proves to be a splendid followup to h5bb’s full length titled, “Blessure One” and subsequent remix album. The single echoes the filthy sample-heavy nature of the aforementioned albums, but with a decidedly dancier feel. To compliment that club-ready vibe, the b-side of this single is an instrumental almost begging to be shredded to bits by talented DJ’s far and wide.
