Herbcraft has landed again. They’ve boarded our planet with a gripping new track “Push Thru The Veil“, carried by a fresh, rounded configuration. We here at the Hassle are honored to be among the first in this realm, known as “music blogging”, to translate it for your people. It is all the hypnotic groove, classic psych sounds, and wild, free-roamin’ jamscapes we’ve come to expect from Matt Lajwah, but until recently it was confined to a duo or solo excursion. Now, it is set free in all its kraut-rock glory. The new Herbcraft lineup, which features Aaron Neveu and Joe Lindsay, has been quietly getting tight, mostly up here in New England, but with these new tracks down on tape they’re are poised to take off. To whichever planet they like, I mean. They are keeping the traditions of mind-melting motorik psych rock not just alive but AWAKE, which is a hard thing to do these days. We’re just plain lucky to have Herbcraft in our midst. Set to drop on the mysterious Sa Records on October 21st, you might get lucky and score one of these fresh little 45s early, at TT’s October 16th as they fishbowl the room with Elder and Ghostbox Orchestra.
