Harmoos — “The Best”

by

Local indie pop rocker Will Henricksen has roamed the streets of Boston for some time now, spreading optimism and positivity wherever it might be that he chooses to touch down. He’s been channeling his energy into a musical project that goes by the name Harmoos for a while now too, and it is this concern that we are here to talk about. For the current trio of Harmoos (don’t forget Olivia and Jeff) have just released a new album called WRONGGG which you can grip over @ their Bandcamp!

“The Best” is a sunny, airy bit of jangle pop featuring a bummer undercurrent that gets loud just when it needs to, and which shambles along perfectly for its just under three minutes. Pull the sheet off that ghost, you gotta live. K and Sarah Records aficionados take note, indie pop lives in Boston.

The beautiful video was directed, shot, and edited by Ariana Ratner, who is one half of the curation team behind Under the Underground, the Hassle’s partner in underground film screenings!! Titles were created by Danielle Lauretano.

Catch HARMOOS @ UNDER THE UNDERGROUND #2, tomorrow night, 8/21 @ Lilypad @ 7pm!
