Our men and women in HAPPY JAWBONE FAMILY BAND are going full throttle right on into the pop stratosphere. Yeah, they have a record coming out on MEXICAN SUMMER, and the proof of it has started to ooze out on the internet. And what we have here is the first batch of ooze! It’s called “Everybody Knows About Daddy.” It’s a classic wrinkled power pop number, shimmering and jangly, basically forcing you to bounce and cleaned up a bit from the HJFB that we are used to hearing on record. But the song is still right there, and the song is still really great. This gang deserves to be heard by the many, and it sure seems like that is what is going to happen.
