As is to be expected, the Whitehaus will be bumpin’ and thumpin’ this fine Saturday evening with a hefty load of merry noisemakers. The always-on-point Bodies of Water shows has searched the skies and calculated that tonight is the night when so many shining stars of experimental noise align to form an impressive constellation pulsating with electronic life -for those with ears to hear. Pataphor will begin the evening with far-off satelite drones. Last-minute addition Hunnie Bunnies follow with their buzzin’ beat freak out flag a flyin’. Jeff Carey and Corey O’Brien, aka DOZEN DIMENSIONS DUO follow with an electro-acoustic set full of feedback static and looped sounds derived from metal and plexiglass. Noise jazz pioneer Steve Norton and Noell Dorsey of Guillermo Sexo team up as RICOCHET to bring us I’m-not-sure-what, but whatever it is, it’ll be loud, quiet, restrained and explosive, all at once. LOS CONDENADOS round out the evening with some loud strained chorus of distorted yelps leaping from the depths of our collective unconscious. Come with an open mind and you’ll surely leave with a full heart.
