GO TO: TONIGHT (6/14) JOSEPH RAGLANI, KEITH FULLERTON WHITMAN, REUBEN SON, DINNERSSS @ WHITEHAUS

by

Get ready for some modular synth mayhem! Tonight in the urban jungle of Jamaica Plain, Slow Blood and the Whitehaus folks are playing host to four high wizards of electronic weirdness. Joseph Raglani of St. Louis does the driving minimal thang, with crisp oscillating tones that bubble under exquisite filters. Keith Fullerton Whitman need no introduction – he is the local heavyweight for modular synth, and if you haven’t caught him yet, you just plain owe it to yourself to get informed about his masterly craftmanship. Reuben Son is local up-and-comer riding the same sonic waves as the above-mentioned artists, but his sounds take on more stretched out, darkly cinematic and somewhat spacey dimensions. Whitehaus resident Dinnersss rounds out the night with a reliably on-point delivery of jumbled noise funk jamz. If you’re into pristine, top quality electronic music infused with just enough dissonance and strange, shifting tones to keep things weird and interesting, come down tonight and get your perception altered.
