Boston party rap heros BIG DIGITS combine gnarly juiced up electro-womp beats and irreverant, smarmy and often nonsensical lyrics into an incredibly effective dance party machine. They’ve been at if for many a year now, so dont underestimate this hometown duo. CX KIDTRONIK is a member of the formidable Atari Teenage Riot, and here he brings his extensive technical skill as a prolific DJ and producer to his chaotic amphetamine-fueled blasts of hyped up synth-rave trill-hop. Likewise, local up-comers MAMMOX drill that intersection between upbeat disshelved bass beats and swirling, buyouant lyrics and strike musical gold. L-BO plays it a lil more low-key with minimal snap-clap instrumentals and incisive, understated rhymes. ICONACLASS takes it a little heavier, and his beats combine classic 90’s style sampled loops twisted for a darker modern audience. Lastly EMOH BETTA swings hard and fast with a diverse range of sticky beats to tickle ears and nod heads.
