Its official; with the equinox past we are firmly into the fall season. With it come many cherished sensations: crisp, scented breezes, apple harvests, comfy sweaters and beautiful scarlet foliage. To celebrate the arrival of autumn, some of our town’s most sweetly talented musicians have come together TODAY at the Somerville Community Growing Center in Union Square. Seraphic sweethearts GRACIOUS CALAMITY will soothe our souls, PANCHO THA KIDD will uplift our spirits, HURRICANES OF LOVE will regal us with his rambling-man blues, FARM HANDS (Steve Norton + ARKM FOAM) get weird and noisey with a wheelbarrow and some ranch utensils, and STREIGHT ANGULAR deliver the easy pop goods. Bands will start performing at 4pm, and if you’re inspired to join in the festivites, they’ll be an hour of open mic beforehand. So if your idea of a perfect fall Saturday includes flora and folk, come down early this afternoon and take it easy with some friends.
