In case you, like us, weren’t paying attention, MERCHANDISE are coming to town, touching down in Allston at What We Talk About to deliver us their sonic concoction of muffled-moaned songs of heartbreak and benumbed emotional turmoil in a seductive package equal parts hazy shoegaze, kosmiche slop and searing post-punk. These Tampa boys, reared on brutal hometown hardcore, will feel right at home tearin’ it up with their overwrought new-gaze grooves.
