Headlining the show is Colorado favorite GAUNTLET HAIR and their freaky-deeky kaleidoscopic psyche-foooonk, highlighting the role of drum machine claps and reverb in balls-out rawk. Locals BIRTHDAYS intend to whip out steaming platters of soft-noise experimentalism garnished with jangly tambourine beats and sweet vocal-and-synth harmonization. Finally, New Yawkers CEMETERIES bring back the arena-size shoegaze mellowness, smoothing out tonight’s noisy peaks with warbling acoustic guitars and choice use of electronic synthesis.
