We hope you all enjoyed the first day of RECORD HOSPITAL FEST 2012 because today’s acts are even sicker if you are connoisseur of all things rock. Following the brutal hardcore breakdowns and speed-freak blast beats of yesterday is a decidedly less violent set of kickass local rock in all shapes sizes and flavors. WINDOW LIQUOR (PA) start things off followed by cohorts in slop-punk chaos NEEDY VISIONS. Then mellow pop hooksters SARALEE dogged closely by what-the-fuck punk noise-squall genius HOLY SHEET (RI). Then get some straight old-school grit punk from AWFUL MAN followed by legendary sloppy garage poppers REPORTS. Rhythmic post-proggy TROPHYWIFE (from Philly) continue the fun before the morose-punk of duo EX WIFE (NJ) mellow you out. And closing up the evening are the local gods of beautiful garage pop CUFFS with their tasty brand of jangly distort-o-pop. Things are getting underway @DEMOCRACY CENTER in Harvard Square at 5pm, all ages $10 for one day or $15 if you were fortunate enough to catch both. This show is not to be skipped! Be there!
