I mean if you like your punk rock done up by dudes who know what the fuck they are doing, seamlessly weaving metal and noise rock ideas into the mix, all with a sense of absurd humor about staring into the shared void of humanity, then Philadelphia’s PISSED JEANS is your band. Essentially you already know this. I mean it’s possible you don’t know this, in which case good for you, you have some really amazing records to discover. But you probably know this. We had them @ last year’s BOSTON HASSLE fest and they destroyed. PISSED JEANS has a new record out on SUB POP, it’s called HONEYS. The first vid below is their actual video for the song “Bathroom Laughter”, the second is essentially just a stream of the same song if you just want to hear the song and not sit through the antics of the video. Anyway, the song is pretty unrelenting and ferocious, one of their steamroller noise punk numbers. Looking forward to hearing the whole record from one of the most consistent heavy bands going in this day and age.
