I guarantee that “Segway Cops” by THE LATEX LOVERS will be stuck in your head for awhile after you listen to it, but it’s okay, I promise. This charmingly catchy new band from Germany has released a debut LP on P. TRASH. Due to the fact that I don’t speak German, I can’t tell you much about this band, but this song has totally won me over, I mean how could you not love a sweet little power-poppy anthem about running away from cops on segways? This song is dumb in all the right places and I’ve listened to it about 15 times in a row. The icing on the cake is that the video for this, which I am assuming they made themselves, has the same terrible aesthetic qualities that a 90’s Geocities website does. This song should be on every summer mix you make.
