THE GOOCH PALMS don’t mess around. Playing with an extremely minimal amount of instruments (a guitar, a couple of drums, and a theremin) this guy/girl duo from Newcastle, Australia play fuzzy off-kilter catchy songs with both members sharing vocal duties. They refer to themselves as a “shit pop” band, and they’ve just released a home recorded 7″ on ANTI FADE RECORDS. DIY weirdness at it’s best, this band is not to be missed.
