San Francisco’s Headboggle have been kind enough to premier “Detective Work” off of their latest release “Polyphonic Demo” that came out April 2019 off Ratskin Records with us. We couldn’t be more stoked. Headboggle is weird, it is anti-colonial, and this video has local ties. Chris Cooper, the video’s director use to live in good ol’ Massachusetts and also use to be in Fat Worm of Error.

What this video means? I have no clue. The music however is cinematic, tight, and expressive. The hat in the video is quite lint-covered. But Derek Gedalecia’s output has been tremendous and prolific in his past twenty years making music which almost exonerates this video’s weirdness into something meaningful or purposefully meaningless.

Whatever it is, it is certainly on your screen right now and further, you need to check out the album “Polyphonic Demo” which is an amazing record all the way through.
