Feast your eyes and ear (or ears, depending on how many it is you have) on this. The video above comes courtesy of a label collective out of Portland, OR called BLANKSTAIRS. Here they have teamed up with NYC’s MICHAEL JUKESON for the first in an apparent series of collaborations between the BLANKSTAIRS collective and like minded music makers of their choosing. JUKESON’s approach is an industrial minded one, minimalistic, pulsing and droning with a touch of that electronic world vibe at times; a true and lengthy creeper at just under 25 minutes on this one called ADDENDUM/SELF (A/VMIX1). JUKESON has ties to the ASTRO NAUTICO crew also based out of New York and his scaled back approach here is accompanied by some appropriately spacey and chill psychedelic visuals. Enjoy this bi-coastal collabo, a wonderful notion if I’ve ever heard one.
