Merchandise, former hardcore kids outta Tampa, FL, sound sort of like a lot of things – Smiths-ish post-punk laments, shoegazy fuzz blurs, raw krautrock synth keys – but transcend that lazy pigenholing BS with some real emotive power and crystaline production. They’re currently working on a record with Night People, and will be touring the east coast in September, including a show at Flywheel in Northampton. No Boston show planned yet, but perhaps we can draw them into our sticky web of showhouses somehow… I’m sure they’d feel right at home.
