Grab a seat, pour some milk and cereal, and get ready to dive headfirst into the wildly wonderful world of Carinae in their new video for “Making Breakfast.”

The Western Mass. psych band’s latest track (which will appear on Carinae’s full-length record this spring) proves as dreamy as the band’s namesake celestial body. Through the creative lens of Boston-based director Andrew Gibson, Carinae transform a task as mundane as prepping your morning meal into a journey through a psychedelic dream land—complete with sugary snacks, mystical characters, collective jams, and a cute pup or two.

Carinae will be playing at O’Brien’s Pub on April 14.
