Amherst dude punk rock that feels pretty good, and would feel a bit better if I could listen to it at a time that is not the dead of winter. These guys have played Boston a few times, including just the other day and they do the kind of hard rock through indie punk filter that a lot of different people let their guard down for and allow themselves to enjoy. “Spider X” is off their new s/t record out soon on the cool often punk-pop flavored DON GIOVANNI RECORDS out of New Jersey. It’s a pummeling rocker, full of chugging distorted guitars and some tasty guitar solos, and recalls some of your fav indie rock guitar bands of the late 80s. Good time rock for flannel punks.
