Minimal techno laid down in extremely intoxicating fashion by longtime Detroit head Dixon. His new album FROM THE FAR FUTURE VOL. 2 came out late last year, and after hearing it I had to make it part of my Best of 2012 list. Here’s a stream, not an official video, from that new record. I especially love the strange synthesizer that occasionally pokes it’s head up from the simmering rhythmic stew. Very chill and hypnotizing, and out of the ordinary beat based electronic music. Out on TRESOR the famous label/club in Berlin which I’m lucky enough to have actually visited.
