Spray Paint, from Austin, TX, infuse their herky-jerky primitivism with a snotty grit reminiscent of the Urinals, and possibly, just because these boys are from Austin, something from the later era of the Big Boys. Their latest offering on their bandcamp page “Dripping The Rails”, grinds it’s motoric lurch forward with a peppering of reverb skronk and a matter-of-fact vocal style. Stop-and-go wriggle-rock set to inspire a monkey dance when and wherever. Whets the appetite for something more, hopefully soon.
