This time we have a Boston based electro-acoustic/noise duo. Nuge Nugent and Nick Neuburg blend acoustic improvisations with with electronic laced sound experiments to create sometimes jarring, sometimes beautiful waves of sound produced by the former on amplified trumpet and the latter on amplified percussion. Their tape from earlier this year, SOMETIMES, IT JUST GETS SO COLD OUTSIDE is a often understated sonic excursion, that moves through many different textures of sound in its just over 30+ minutes of buzz, drone, noise, and splatter.
