LOVE-UP TIME are a band to keep your eye on. This Cambridge two piece (Hayley Thompson-King of BANDITAS and Simon Simard of WHITE PAGES) started writing songs a little under a year ago as an experiment of doing something a little different than the music they were currently playing. The result is a collection of gritty unrestrained straightforward garage punk blasts that the band recorded themselves and released on tape on CAN’T STAND YA/HARD TO KILL. 5 originals, one killer SUPERCHARGER cover and an aggressively snotty version of a Christian standard, you can pick up this totally excellent demo from the band tonight when they play at CHARLIE’S KITCHEN.
