This is a nasty little thing this s/t 7″ from the UK’s GOOD THROB. In the gutter punk rock sounds, feral emotion leaking from every inch of the four songs, full of simple charm from this four piece. To put it in local terms I am reminded in a way of the AUGUST SPIES, in that this is mid-tempo punk rock that veers from bopping to desperate with ease. I bet this band is great fun live. SUPERFI RECORDS released this awesome chunk of scum lathered anger from which “Bag” is the ultimate track; a slow burner that culminates with singer Ellie’s ugly snarling question at song’s end. As far as I can tell there’s this and another 7″, and that’s it so far for this lot. Want more.
