Absolute dense weird from somwehere in Pennsylvania, and they call it DAYWAND. A record from this year is out on VWYRD WURD and it is called TEMPORARY SANCTUARY. Not 100% sure what to make of this over here, but at times I hear record scratching sounds, and samples, and much in the way of an ambient psychedelic ooze that’s been poured over someone’s poor drum machine. “Brushed By The Face of Junipers” has a nice groove that gets lost in fuzzy fog. This is very strange meandering music, with some charm. Will need a few more listens…
