We’ve been made aware of this Milwaukee band’s very cool new record MOTHER TONGUE 2 just in time to check out their Boston show going down tomorrow night, 8/25, @ Video Underground in JP. Very rhythmically oriented psych rock, essentially meaning that they owe much to particular Krautrock strains, is the recipe. Electronically treated vocals glide over impeccable grooves, and bubbling synths, and all of this could cause quite a stir if connected with an audience prepared for such a thing. Yet another cool band with a rhythmic intensity coming out of the Midwest. This new one is out on Organalog Records.
