Troubling, mind shattering electronic/organic hybrid sounds from the 4 man British group known as AUFGEHOBEN. Noise yes, most of the time, but this is ear slay with much bubbling just beneath the surface, and rhythms pulsing out of the murk, if only barely. The group’s first record since KHORA which came out in 2008, and their 6th overall. HOLY MOUNTAIN is their label home, and it appears that it is rare indeed to catch them live, so take it if you get the chance. I don’t know when the appropriate time to listen to this is, but at times it’s probably when you seeking to sandpaper your brains(and obvioulsy your ears too).
