Is it me, or did life seem simpler when the easygoing jangle-punkers of Free Pizza still called Boston, MA home? A year or so later, they’re still recording via Boston-born BUFU Records, and they’ve released the video for “Dancing” on the cusp of a record release show here in Boston on June 21.

“Dancing” is a short, sunny pop song with a simple message: Dancing is the cure (more specifically, “dancing is the cure to mediocre moments”). The video features a slo-mo DIY dance party that you might wish you were invited to, since, naturally, Free Pizza is playing at it.
