The Fagettes have been lurking around Allston since at least 2011, banging their way through basements clubs and alleyways with a strident tone and infectious energy thats plain irressitable. Perhaps thats why they’ve chosen to highlight a new recording of their anthem “On Drugs” from the forthcoming debut LP “Avec Plaisir.”

With a watery, blurred out backdrop splashing nostalgic snapshots of dives into summer lakes, the video for “On Drugs” – directed by drummer Peaches – is a fitting pair to the track’s atmosphere of fuzzy fun.
