I missed getting this review out by Halloween but, hey, since the election, every day has pretty much felt like a celebration of evil right!? Huh?! Is this thing on? *Ahem*. But things are looking up. For example, MA’s own awesomely-named DUST WITCH dropped a four-plus minute synth banger on us with the song “Mirage.” You like GOBLIN? You like HAWKWIND? You like JOHN CARPENTER? You wish those European “synthwave” artists would learn the goddamned guitar already?! Then you’ll love DUST WITCH. “Mirage” is the perfect soundtrack to the Giallo screenplay you’ve been working on for several years, or to the post-apocalyptic wasteland we will all soon be living in.
