A seven-song offering of richly textured bluegaze, this local duo (Mark Bodio of markHor/Keef Sweat and Alex Hamrick of Funny Money) especially kills it on the perfectly off-kilter “Just Cuz (Part of Me Wants To)” and more brooding “Fog” and “I Know How It Works”. Bodio’s vocals are deeply felt and longing for something unclear on each track; meanwhile, each emotion is sustained by dissonant yet thickly layered guitar and drums.
