CONCRETE FENCE – “INDUSTRIAL DISEASE”

by

Russell Haswell rolls deep in the collaborations. His destructively decadent Convulsive Threshold LP found him locked in a glitchy battle with Yasunao Tone. This time, Haswell keeps his conversation decidedly British, locking arms and eyes with Karl O’Connor, the innovative techno producer and Downwards record label boss known more commonly as Regis.

Judging from “Industrial Disease,” New Release (1) is going to be a downright evil affair. Noisy breaks bookend a punishing, long middle section. Animalistic and menacing, thrashes of spiky static thrash out, while a steady techno build assures listeners of the shadow-stained dance floor this thing is stalking around. Check out “Disease” below; look out for this monster on PAN now.
