“I’m Kin” is the best new Imogen Heap song that, well, isn’t by Imogen Heap. In fact, it’s the latest track from Colleen, the stage name of multi-talented French chanteuse Cecile Schott. Schott’s delicate, ethereal vocals and unique style of playing her viola de gamba (she tunes it like a guitar and strums it) make for a compelling, if mysterious, track. It pairs well with this super-sensory video, which is sort of a video version of those “Can you guess what everyday object is in this photo, zoomed in 100 times?” Internet posts.
