Late to the party on this one. Bib put out one of the best punk demos at the end of 2015. The Omaha, Nebraska outfit features members of Pisswalker and Bent Life, among others and plays a brand of hardcore reminiscent of Hoax – think a less heavy version of their demo – with weirder, wilder vocals. The demo is full of killer riffs and breakdowns, but really needs to be listened to in order to really be appreciated. Normally, I am opposed to demos being reissued as 7”s, but this is one demo that really screams for that treatment. Essential stuff. Bib’s Mid West/East Coast tour begins this week, and you can catch them in Western Mass and Providence next week. Step to it.
