2018 Year Enders, Arts & Culture

A Year Ender from Grandmothermiracles

by

GrandmotherMiracles

GrandmotherMiracles is a Boston based musician and performer based out of Boston. Playing Anjimile’s EP release show at DAP 1/25 with Hollow Deck & Dust from a Thousand Years, their performance, as is their music, is an evocative powerhouse of musicianship and dedication reminiscent of early to mid 20th soul & folk songwriting. Set in the 21st century, the lyrical poetry is spiked with the urgency of a busy, quickly changing cityscape. Contrary to a cold New England winter, the music’s warmth and scope induces the listener to where there is only imagination. They also play in Ivory Glass Towers who make an eloquent stew of metal, rock, trance and techno music into a full-bodied, cultural tonic.

Below is what they most listened to in 2018. Enjoy! -Chris H
