Reunion Weekend @ the Brattle Theatre

5/22-5/25 @Brattle

by

Being the academic capital of America, Boston is chock full of alumni returning to their alma mater to reminisce about old times, asshole teachers, wasted youth, and dated prejudices this time of year. Do you really want to go through that again? Instead, ditch the college green and head on down to the Brattle Theatre for anniversary screenings from the past century. Classics like The Great Dictator and Rebecca from 1940, The Knack… And How to Get It, Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, and Repulsion from 1965, along with Akira Kurosawa’s Dreams from 1990 are all given their due.

Note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Miami Blues will not be playing. Which is a drag, but it’s tough to complain with this lineup.
