Year-ender? Nah, I’m out here writing a year-STARTER for all of you folks dreading or anticipating the new decade.

  1. SPLIT LP – Corrupt Vision/SiBANACCrack rocksteady/grindcore crossover bands hailing from Orange County CA and Chapel Hill NC releases a promising split to be pressed in February 2020
  2. Wonderland – Alexander

Alternative singer-songwriter Alexander impresses me with the first single “Bicycle” off this new album

3.  When You Become Real – Mystery Gems
Indie Pop fuzz band gets a little shoegazey with the opening track “Descender” on their latest EP.

4. Flood Dream – LEYA
Spooky harp and violin duo get more atmospheric on “Weight” with GABI.

5. I Was Born Swimming – Squirrel Flower

Some calming indie folk vibrations come out on this upcoming album from Squirrel Flower.
