Thoughts on Airports & Hospitals

by H. Zaman

You’ve got to quit being so selfish, man… self-serving…

Why do I have an interest in the airport, and the hospital?

Is it that something is undoubtedly going to happen? That change, newness and potential are built into the fabric of these places?

Does it have to do with the fact that they are institutions that deal with non-trivial matters?

Something is being Done? Completed? Non-trivial things that—in various cases—have a start & end? Travel… Cure… Adventure?.. Improvement?

illness sickness travel transportation different disruption of banal perspective change official formality earnest
Grand gestures in the face of humanity’s problems… Solving—completing work.
