Hello Experimenters!
The 2 Week Film Challenge is at an end, and I am excited to report that I have a cut of my project. I still have titles & credits to add, and I want to finesse the sound, but otherwise I feel great about what I was able to accomplish. I look forward to hearing from any of you who hunkered down over the last two weeks.
No newsletter next week. I’m going to take a mini vacation somewhere cooler than Boston.
In solidarity,
Gabby

Things to Do
Assignment: Now that we’ve completed the 2 Week Film Challenge, share your work!
Even if you didn’t participate in the challenge, share some progress on whatever you’re working on. If you share on Instagram tag @this_week_in_experimental or you can always drop a link on Discord.
Journal: For Pride Month, we’re writing letters. Each Pride Monday, I’m going to ask you to write a letter to someone. That person can be living or dead, real or fictional. You don’t have to share this letter in any way, but obviously if you feel brave and open go for it. I want to leave you with the quote that inspired me to share this: “Letter writing is transformative. Letter writing is harm reduction” – Red, Survived & Punished
5) Write to yourself about what this month has been like for you. What are your hopes for the future regarding pride, gender, sexuality, and yourself more broadly. Set up a reminder to read this letter next Pride.
