Arts & Culture, What You Can Do To Save The World

Support Asian American Arts, Activism, and Organizing!

Asian American Resource Workshop is fundraising this Asian Pacific Heritage Month

by

Since 1979, AARW has been a home to API organizers, activists, and artists in the Boston area. The organization has been growing, and we need your support to continue to grow the organization! This APA Heritage Month, we’re asking you to help us grow and sustain our organization. AARW has been an important part of the Asian American movement in Boston for 39 years, producing media content for our communities, organizing around land use and immigrant rights, and creating a space and community for young API activists and organizers to find home and political community. AARW continues to grow and shift with the times, and we continue to do critical community building and organizing work in these treacherous political times. This year, AARW has worked to support Southeast Asian folks facing increased threat of deportation, organized in a multiracial coalition for development without displacement in Dorchester, led workshops on college campuses through the Sticky Rice Project, and is now celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Boston Asian American Film Festival. And we are doing all of this while building family and political connections to grow our work and the movement. Help us continue to build our power and build our community and celebrate APA Heritage Month by supporting us this May! #IAmAARW #FundAPIPower
