Behold Mills Gallery as a stage with their current performance art-based series centered around the work of Jeff Huckleberry. The Boston-based artist’s performance pieces involve an array of materials (buckets of paint, lumber, balloons, beer, wind chimes, white noise, nudity and a clown nose) and simultaneously evoke humor, frustration, play and struggle. Each performance in the series features different artists who have previously collaborated or studied with Huckleberry, while promising a transformation of the gallery space and a unique experience in and of itself. Tonight come see the work of acclaimed artists Alastair MacLennan and Sandra Johnston.
