OPENING: California Design, 1930-1965 @PEM

On Saturday, take the commuter rail to Salem to join in the opening celebration of PEM’s newest exhibit, California Design: Living in a Modern Way. Showcasing the west coast’s innovative approaches to design, architecture, fashion and film in the mid-20th century, the 200-piece exhibit explores the ways in which California influenced modern and contemporary culture. There will be lots of events happening throughout the day, including films, gallery talks, tours and presentations. Check below for a schedule of the day’s goings-on.
