MASS TEXT: New Acquisitions at the DAP Zine Library

by

Thanks to generous donations, the Dorchester Art Project Zine Library has a varied collection of over 200 zines. Recent donations include local zinesters from Seek + Find Boston’s New Zineland, perzines from the Massachusetts Feminist Zine Fest (MFZF), and political/activist zines from an anonymous donation.

Next time you are at Dorchester Art Project, follow your senses through the gallery, passed the mural wall to the library tucked into the wall behind glass doors. Consider checking out Let’s Make A Zine! An Interactive Workshop: The Zine! by Olivia M. which is a crash course informative zine about making zines! Those interested in visual stimuli, check out the first issue of MUNDI by Sable Sanborn.  For seekers of a better community, check out  If You See Something Do Something!: 12 Things To Do Instead of Calling the Cops.

REALLY. CHECK THEM OUT. YOU CAN CHECK OUT THE ZINES. Fill out the out card with your contact information and promise to return the zine within a month’s time. The library is open during gallery hours, Saturday and Sundays, 12-6pm.

Browse the DAP Zine Library in this sortable listing.

We are accepting donations! Send us your zine and include some information on how you would like your zine(s) described. If you drop off your zine(s) at DAP, fill out a cataloging sheet in the donation box.  If you send us your zines, fill out the cataloging sheet here.  Try not to send in duplicate zines, please.

Thank you to all those who have donated so far.

See you in the library.
